I took this at a backwoods gas station in the Adirondacks. I went in to pay for gas and saw this old guy with an amazing beard eating a slice of frozen pizza. The lights inside were dim and the window light made him look epic. I went to the car, got my camera and asked him if I could take his picture. He was happy to oblige. It reminded me that stories- visual or otherwise are all around us. We just have to keep our eyes open.
